Data Analyst - forecasting (Hartford, CT)

Harborlight Amber Learning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 676 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in attendance records and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
