Data Analyst - forecasting (Hartford, CT)

Clearpath Drift Health Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in insurance authorisations and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on referrals. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
