Data Analyst - forecasting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Nova Vale Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Grand Rapids, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 234 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on capital projects. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
