Data Analyst - forecasting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Fernwood North Early Learning Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in classroom supplies and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
