Data Analyst - forecasting (Fresno, CA)

Northwind Ridge Insurance is an insurance company in Fresno with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on policy renewals. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
