Data Analyst - forecasting (Fresno, CA)

Redstone Cedar Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for procurement, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in procurement and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on constituent requests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
