Data Analyst - forecasting (Fresno, CA)

Bright Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for parts orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in parts orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on vehicle inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
