Data Analyst - forecasting (Fort Worth, TX)

Amberfield Birch Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Fort Worth with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in recycling loads and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on service complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
