Data Analyst - forecasting (El Paso, TX)

Nova Union Inspection Services Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in equipment calibration and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on field inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
