Data Analyst - forecasting (El Paso, TX)

Westbrook Corner Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around El Paso. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on shrink and waste. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
