Data Analyst - forecasting (El Paso, TX)

Bluepeak Basin Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for constituent requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in constituent requests and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on case files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
