Data Analyst - forecasting (Detroit, MI)

Summit Quill Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Detroit. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in contractor visits and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on safety inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
