Data Analyst - forecasting (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Nova Bright Early Learning and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Investigate trends in meal programmes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on licensing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
