Data Analyst - forecasting (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Summit Financial Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Investigate trends in payment disputes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
