Data Analyst - forecasting (Detroit, MI)

Highbridge Cedar Civic Services Partners provides shared administrative services to local governments around Detroit, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on constituent requests. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
