Data Analyst - forecasting (Detroit, MI)

Summit Fox Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Detroit, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on classroom supplies. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
