Data Analyst - forecasting (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Loom Auto Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 199 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Investigate trends in vehicle inspections and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on warranty claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
