Data Analyst - forecasting (Detroit, MI)

Stonegate Ivory Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Detroit area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in customer tickets and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on field visits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
