Data Analyst - forecasting (Detroit, MI)

Summit Vale Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in tooling and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on production lines. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
