Data Analyst - forecasting (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Orchard Farms is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in packing house output and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on harvest schedules. • Python or R for analysis.
