Data Analyst - forecasting (Denver, CO)

Greenridge Junction Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in machine downtime and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
