Data Analyst - forecasting (Denver, CO)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Birch Energy and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 498 people based in Denver. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
