Data Analyst - forecasting (Dallas, TX)

Summit Bridge Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on accessibility audits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
