Data Analyst - forecasting (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Willow Insurance and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in underwriting files and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
