Data Analyst - forecasting (Dallas, TX)

Lumen Telecom is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service installations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
