Data Analyst - forecasting (Dallas, TX)

Nova Wren Legal Group is a law firm in Dallas serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in trust accounts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
