Data Analyst - forecasting (Dallas, TX)

Fernwood Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Dallas. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in repair requests and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on rent assistance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
