Data Analyst - forecasting (Dallas, TX)

Bluepeak Granite Learning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in attendance records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
