Data Analyst - forecasting (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Nova Hollow Environmental Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on weigh tickets. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
