Data Analyst - forecasting (Columbus, OH)

Ironwood Fern Civic Services works with county and city offices around Columbus, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Investigate trends in procurement and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on public records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
