Data Analyst - forecasting (Columbus, OH)

Fernwood Ember Community Partners runs community programmes across Columbus, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in benefits enrolment and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on client intake. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
