Data Analyst - forecasting (Colorado Springs, CO)

Highbridge Basin Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in outage response and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
