Data Analyst - forecasting (Colorado Springs, CO)

Ironwood Union Banking Services Partners is a community-focused bank in Colorado Springs serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in deposit accounts and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on account openings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
