Data Analyst - forecasting (Colorado Springs, CO)

Bright Thistle Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Colorado Springs. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in device records and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on regulatory submissions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
