Data Analyst - forecasting (Cleveland, OH)

Amberfield Rowan Hospitality is a hospitality company in Cleveland with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in guest bookings and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on reviews and feedback. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
