Data Analyst - forecasting (Cleveland, OH)

Stonegate Union Banking Services is a regional lender in Cleveland with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in account openings and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on card disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
