Data Analyst - forecasting (Cincinnati, OH)

Silverline Union Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Cincinnati. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in scheduling and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on certifications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
