Data Analyst - forecasting (Chicago, IL)

Highbridge Pike Markets serves neighbourhoods around Chicago with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in shrink and waste and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on promotions. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
