Data Analyst - forecasting (Chicago, IL)

Nova Drift Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Chicago with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Investigate trends in weigh tickets and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on service complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
