Data Analyst - forecasting (Chicago, IL)

Amberfield Granite Staffing places workers with employers around Chicago. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in temp assignments and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on onboarding. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
