Data Analyst - forecasting (Chicago, IL)

Fernwood Basin Legal Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for billing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in billing records and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on trust accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
