Data Analyst - forecasting (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Silverline Construction and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 55 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on change orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
