Data Analyst - forecasting (Charlotte, NC)

Foxglove Beacon Financial is a financial-services company in Charlotte. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in payment disputes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on regulatory reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
