Data Analyst - forecasting (Charlotte, NC)

Lumen Maple Manufacturing makes precision components in Charlotte, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in scrap and rework and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
