Data Analyst - forecasting (Charlotte, NC)

Stonegate Forge Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Charlotte, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 90 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in accessibility audits and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
