Data Analyst - forecasting (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Sable Financial Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for regulatory reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in regulatory reports and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on vendor spend. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
