Data Analyst - forecasting (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Stone Transit Planning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on survey data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
