Data Analyst - forecasting (Boston, MA)

Silverline Hollow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Boston presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on event logistics. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
