Data Analyst - forecasting (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak North Staffing and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in temp assignments and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on candidate screening. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
