Data Analyst - forecasting (Boise, ID)

Amberfield Haven Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Boise region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boise. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
